Professional info

Minneapolis, city of my birth, never held my interest for long. This is surprising considering the cultural diversity and artistic expression, the refurbished brick buildings juxtaposed in the four season landscapes with modern architecture. I was more interested in my internal landscape. Throughout my teen years, I created self-portraits all titled I Am A Tree. This internal restlessness to know and define myself moved my spirit to experience many parts of the world. Travel provided reflections of parts of me not available in the mid-western culture. I have lived and traveled in the west coast and east coast of US, Western Europe, Southern African countries, Hong Kong, Philippines. Thus, cultural diversity is present in my artistic expression as well as the mythological.
